Hi all,
After being a longtime XBMC for Xbox user, I finally upgraded to XBMC Live on an Asrock ION3D with 50" Plasma HDTV.
I used to use the default PM3 skin, with wide icons like all the cool kids did e.g. my sources list were wide "TV" "Movie" "Xbox Drive" "Network" etc icons, and the TV shows list were wide icons of the show. I didn't use any icons for movies just a list as there were too many.
I tried using my existing wide icons with the new setup and they look terrible! Too big and low res. Blah.
I am still exploring my media manager options for the full library experience (I'd already started updating with Ember when still using the Xbox), I'd just like to get a half decent "sources" view going
What do the cool kids do now?

Coming from Xbox PM3, wide icons (folder.jpg) looks ugly now

My options seem to be either forgo the thumbnail/icon view and just have a list view (dull), find new wide icons (or posters etc) suitable for a large HD display, or explore other options. |
