Hey Guys,
I have just finished setting up my XBMC (running 10.0 Dharma) on Windows 7.
I am using it on a second monitor (Samsung LCD TV) with HDMI out to the TV and 6ch Discrete (Analog) audio from my motherboard to my receiver. It is all being controlled by Eventghost and a Logitech Harmony Remote.
If anyone needs any help on a similar set up let me know and I'll see if I can help as I ran into a lot of troubles.
Here's what I'm using
- XBMC 10.0 Dharma
- Eventghost 0.3.7.r1462 (with MCE Remote Vista/Win7 Plugin and XBMCRepeat Plugin)
- Logitech Harmony 525 Remote
- DisplayFusion (multi monitor tool for backgrounds - better than what Win 7 has)
Regards
Alex

When using the having the second monitor display XBMC, when using your first monitor for usual computer needs, how do you keep XBMC in focus for your remote. I've tried the xbmc launch program but i doesn't work well at all.
Also I have trouble getting event ghost setup. I'm using my PC and a projector as a second monior. Xbmc won't work with the remote when its not in focus. Is there a way to configure to work ONLY with XBMC? even when out of focus? |
