Apple TV2 iOS 4.1 crash
#1
I have done the original jailbreak (circa November 2010) on my ATV G2 [iPhone OS 4.1 (8M89)]. I followed the instructions to install XBMC but when I run it, a splash screen appears then it looks like LowTide resets. With syslogd installed /var/log/syslog points to a Crash report file:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00000000
Crashed Thread: 29

Anyone make any sense of this?

Thanks for all the help (SFA).

Poking around I found this file:
/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/xbmc.log

and it said at the end:
Unable to load libcurl.dylib

Googling on that indicated the cURL package was needed from Cydia. Then 'apt-get install curl' solved my problem. Please fix your package dependencies.
