I renamed a directory wrong for like 30 seconds. Apparently you guys tried this in that 30 seconds.
I wasn't having trouble. I was just posting a fixed link for that guy...
No worries.

Wonkamas Wrote:I got the new build to work and it's great how do you delete xbmc.frappliance.old
trying to delete it but won't let me
sorry I know it's a noob question
meshuga Wrote:You can delete the old one by ssh'ing back into the device and doing a 'rm -rf xbmc.frappliance' in /private/var/stash/appliances.
RoarinRow Wrote:Thank you. Should it be 'rm -rf xbmc.frappliance.old'?
meshuga Wrote:Yup, that is correct.
RoarinRow Wrote:Cool thanks. Hopefully I didn't delete the xbmc.frappliance. How can I check if I still have it lol?
nikc0069 Wrote:Ok tried the latest testing build and everything smooth apart from the static on ac3. The guisettings file has vanished. Also by turning off surround the inlayer seems to work properly... Fast running video and static over hdmi without it. Don't know if the hdmi issue is linked to librmtp in any way...

I'm running the build from the 24th, haven't had a chance to update to the 26th version yet (that's tonights job), but so far it's been great!
Definietly a lot smoother / quicker.
I haven't noticed any problems but will keep playing around tonight.
I also managed to get the Aeon65 skin installed, and that is also running brilliantly with your build!
Keep up the great work !
meshuga Wrote:Good job finding my iOS build guys! I haven't had a chance to write up instructions, but essentially its:
1) Install xbmc the normal way: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Ins...Phone/iPad
2) Using Filezilla or whatever SCP/SFTP into the device (after enabling openssh) and copy over the XBMC.app from http://music.hadm.net/~keith/xbmc_atv2/X...012611.zip to /private/var/stash/Applications.pwn
3) run xbmc!
Worked for me on an iPad, 4.2.1.
