my idea is this:

a torrent browser that browses/searches a page like http://www.bi-torrent.com/ for multimedia content,
but when a torrent is chosen, instead of downloading it to the xbox, it sends the url of the torrent file to a computer on your lan that in turn downloads the file locally.

you could then connect to this server through a samba share to watch the videos that are downloaded.

an additional feature to implement could be a status monitor that allows you to
view the progress of your torrents from the xbox.

hey. i think i am going to delay my release by a week or so. i'm going to try and make it a lot better. basically what i want to do is make it like some pvr software even though i've never used any!! for the btefnet i want to link the shows to tvtome and give it a nice clean look...at the moment its not! i think its worth the effort..is anybody else working on something similar...or on a tvtome script..if so let me know and we can join forces...i'll try and make it generic enough as i want to be able to add uk sites to it with ease also.
