Just in case anyone in the UK is having issues with the change to BST... I was lazy when I set my time and used

ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/GMT

To change to BST I ran

ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/London

Notice the -sf to force overwrite.

On my ATV2 changing the timezone had no effect until I found the setting under xbmc:

System / Appearance / International /

Choose your Timezone country and your Timezone (if required).

If you're looking for London, select for Britain in the country field.

only for ios < 4.3 , and its been months

Hmmm .. this doesn't seem to work for me. When I inserted US/Eastern localtime it reset my time to 4 hours ahead of Eastern time? Tried unlinking localtime and redoing it, but now nothing works at all. Remains 4 hours ahead, even tried different time zones.

Also, now when I get to the rm localtime command, I get an error that says "no such file or directory"
