Movies are missing from the home screen
#1
Good evening to all of you
I deleted the XBMC and i reinstalled a new version. After that i saw that Movies button was missing from the Home screen.Only Videos-music-pictures etc are ok. Also from the home screen is missing the date and the time.
In the Settings\Skin\Home Window i see that i can not check this point.
Can you pls tell me how to reactivate it again ?
Thanks for your attention

You may be able to see the source, but I'd be willing to bet you have not defined the content type or scanned it to the library.

What everyone else is saying is that you havent scanned them into the library. Select your movies folder in the videos view, press 'c' to bring up the context menu and select 'set content'. Hopefully it is self explanatory from there.

If you have already done this i have no idea.

Just because you can see them and play them through the videos section does not mean they are part of the library. Bring up the context menu on your source and set content so they can be scanned into the library. Once that is done... the movie button can be activated.

It does not work at all. Even with C\Set Content it does not scan the movies because they still exist.
I will delete the XBMC including the subfolders and i will reistall it again.
Thanks all for your replies and attention.......................
