When watching 1080p mkv files I get always Buffering xx% and then it runs for some seconds, after that It will do the same.
Is there some tweak to get more buffer or even a hint what to do ?
I use
ATV2 4.1.1 XBMC
FritzBox 7270 with USB HDD
LAN Connection between Fritz and ATV2
when streaming the Files over WIFI to my PC I do not get any Buffer Problems so the speed of the NAS should not be the Problem.

UPDATE: I used my Win7 Mashine for testing the 1080p playback Files over WIFI and SMB. And it worked. I'm realy not amused from my damn expensive FritzBox. If someone has the same issues see this as an advice to not use the FritzBox USB Nas for ATV2. Maybe we are lucky and a Firmware Update solves this in the future. |

I'm getting a lot of these problems now, - I don't think processor can cope with ac3 6 channel audio. Can you pass it through to an audio decoder?

Sorry forgot - try turning off generate thumbnails first - should fix ac3 audio issues right up.

I realy did not find a place to increase the buffer size. The mentioned advanced...xml is not on my ATV2.
In some Situations I think a bit more buffer will help. The 8GB internal Storage will be used and the RAM also will have some fun Some advice ? -- ATV2 - ZOTAC ION - XBMC - NAS - Harmony ONE |
