For daily shows is there any way to limit the shows to the last x (say, 20) episodes? I have a auto-script downloading and copying in shows into the xmbc folder, and forcing the library updates.

It would be nice to only keep the last several episodes...

My personal suggestion is to avoid the problem entirely by using the bluecop Daily Show plugin from the bluecop repository.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for the question itself. Maybe someone else?

Hello,

A work around of sorts is what I do. I use a program called Belvedere for cleaning purposes. You can set it delete, move, copy stuff, etc. I have all of my daily shows in one directory. I have instructed Belvedere to delete all *.avi files that were created 30 or more days ago.
Belvedere is a free program and is really good at what it does.
