Can someone please let me know how I would remove XBMC from my AppleTV 2?
It's beyond me if I'm honest. The menus are complicated and it's just not for me although I appreciate all the work the devs have done with it.
I'd be SSH'ing via Terminal from a Mac and would really like to follow any instructions on removing it completely.
Regards
Michael

Will factory reset remove xbmc from atv2 or just "uninstall" it?
Im looking for a fresh start after fooling around with builds, settings etc - that include deleting the video/music database.

A factory reset will delete XBMC, the jailbreak, everything. As if you do it through iTunes it should reload the stock OS software back on there.
Set Up
Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc - XBMC 12.2
40" Samsung ES6800 LED Smart 3D 1080P TV
Onkyo HTS3405 5.1 DD True HD and DTS-HD Surround Sound
ReadyNAS Duo with 4TB (2 x 2TB X-RAID) Western Digital Caviar Green using NFS

...or execute this like a charm:
apt-get autoremove --purge org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2
