I Have been having trouble with SMB and connecting to windows 7 through my apple tv. I know that i needed to uninstall windows live assistant and cant seem to find it in my programs via control panel, so i assume that it is not installed. I ran into this work-around "http://forum.xbmc.org/archive/index.php/t-88542.html" that enables me to connect to my SMB but now XBMC cannot access the remote server for scrapers. Running windows 7x64 and installed xbmc via firecore's atv flash if that makes a difference.

Any help would be much appreciated I have been looking everywhere for a solution and cant seem to find one.

How is your atv connected to the internet ?

Through a router or through your computer ?

we need more info on that one. Also if you can connect to the "in the cinema/in the movies" tab in the original appleTV menu (not in xbmc) if this does not work, you're simply not connected to the web.

P.S.: atv flash works great for me.
