Niti of Awkward TV details how to install an AFP server at the bottom page in this link (look under the section "Useful Things to Install")

Has anybody tried this? What was your experience?

Thanks.

I was being serious, what would you like us to tell you? That it works? It obviously works since there is a how to... Confused

Explain what you are after and I'll be more than happy to assist

I installed it via Nito (I had posed the original question before having purchased an ATV2). It works but, since it is only a server (shows-up in FInder of adjacent Mac; no means for mounting volumes to ATV2), it is of marginal utility if you are already using an app such as Cyberduck.

yeah, you cant mount any shares on ATV2 without kextload and that is not happening any time soon
