I presently run XBMC and love it, a friend of mine just bought a boxee box and I was wondering if I install boxee just for the fun of trying it and being able to answer his questions in case he have (and I'm sure he will). Is there any way it can mess up with my xbmc install(I doubt it but I'd better be safe than sorry)

On my windows 7 media center, i ran boxee and xbmc for a while.. i just recently uninstalled boxee.
One thing I didn't like about boxee was it took for ever to scrape the movies and tv, also.. it didn't really have a category for home movies like xbmc can do with the videos.
the netflix app on boxee was way better than the one for xbmc... but neither one is as good as the netflix app for windows Media Center. The little app thing was cool on boxee but the app thing on xbmc works just fine too..... I think XBMC just runs better and is simpler. But like anything its an opinion
