Hello Folks,
I have:-
Windows XP SP3
Downloaded XBMC 10,
Installed, unpacked 'skin.showmix'
placed showmix folder in addons folder.
Ran XBMC,
cleaned video library,
swithched to evolution skin,
Added NAS folder address into video menu
Set content to movies
Movies menu icon apears on Horizontal scroll bar
Scrape initiated and allocated thumbs and backgrounds in Video menu
(Note Showmix is not available on this menu)
Move and open Movies
All lined up great as horizontal line of dominoes
Sadly - No thumbs, no Fan art and when I click 'enter' to play I get the message 'REMOVE MOVIE FROM LIBRARY'
'THIS FILE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.'
'WOULD YOU LIKE TO REMOVE IT FROM THE LIBRARY?'
'YES/NO'
Movies play OK from Video directry with skins and fan art
(cant get showmix (dominoes in a row) in the video menu).
I mapped c drive and loaded some movies, everything works great
Its as if the movie folder does not know the way to the NAS
However this was set when adding to the video menu and work OK there!

I really don't want to have to move all my movies back from my NAS to a hard disk on my PC

Please bear with me, i get by but I'm not the most computer savy guy dude around,
