Http server on ATV2
#1
I just got my new ATV2 and have installed XBMC. I have tried to get the Android remote app to work with my ATV. Is this possible?

I understand the remote app requires the HTTP interface to be up and running, and that this should be enabled under Network settings. But on my networks setting page there is no selection of activating the http server. I can not reach the xbmc by typing the IP address in a browser on the Win 7 computer in the network. Is there support for the http server in the current ATV2 XBMC implementation?

Any tips?

(I'm new to both ATV and XBMC...)

It is not enabled in current builds, it may be in the future

The webserver is however available I believe (not tried it myself) if you compile your own (from current sourcecode) or take one of the regular unofficial builds as described in;
