http-streams not working
#1
Hi I've got problems with avi-files on http-servers.
When I download the file xbmc is playing them fine, but iv i try to play them directly with xbmc they wont start.

Xine and mplayer just play them fine via http-Url

I already tried to install and compile ffmpeg by hand and also did it with microhttp, but I can't get xbmc to play the files

I'm on OpenSuse 11.3 compiled xbmc-Dharma from the git. It always compiles fine!

the following Errors can be seen when debugging is set:

http://pastebin.com/m1prHfsB

btw: original url edited and changed to blablabla ... the first lines is where the same movie is played from disk

hopefully someone can help!

:maybe some of the opensuse headers or libs are broken, so can someone tell me which ones are the required libraries and headers to get http-streams working ?

I guess that is the same problem that i am having.

The "Accept-Ranges" header is missing when accessing files over "server/vfs/<file>".

Anyone got an idea?

Edit: As i read your question again, i assume i missunderstood it....
