Question
Hi everybody, first of all let me tell you, XBMC it's the best thing I've seen to manage videos, I'm a movie collector and fan, I found this device:

It's a 1 TB Hard Drive that also has a Media Center feature to play media on tv, and I was wondering if it is posible to have de XBMC interface on this device? It'd be great! It could be the best device with the best interface. Just Perfect!

Hi i just bought the iomega SD and i think xbmc would fit ..but Starstream i have read requirements.. but as iomega SD does same thing as XBMC already.. if a kernel compilation was made in f.x arch linux and adapted to fit.. i have looked at the source code packages to the iomega.. more or less same as u can find in any debian
would it still be a no go for some reason?

Well a big one is that XBMC needs an OpenGL class GPU to render it's UI, and the Realtek chipset does not have one.

GPU's in embedded media players are extremely rare, only Arm players (not too common yet) have them. The other is Sigma Design's next gen media player chipsets but they wont launch until end of the year it looks like or early 2012.
