Son of a...:mad: it did it again. I did another trial run of my 1080p .mkv file and it started stuttering again about 10 minutes into the video. Errrggh you'd think if my macbook pro could handle rendering stuff in Final Cut Pro it could handle a simple 1080p file, I don't know what I can do...

have the xmbc.log for the above trial run here

Can anybody help me here? Or is it just a messed-up malignancy in the otherwise awesome XBMC universe?

I noticed it occurs at just 10 minutes into playback, for about 5 or 6 seconds, if that helps. could it have something to do with the "big skip" functionality that puts you right around there when you utilize it, I wonder?
