I have just installed XBMC and so far, it's good.

However I was looking at using Media Centre Master to get the tags for the movies I have, but will XBMC overwrite the tags when I get it to discover my directory of movies? Or will it just read the tag that is there.

I did tick the box in Media Centre Master to output XBMC tag files.

XBMC uses .nfo files if they're there. Otherwise, it scrapes and caches internally.

Never heard of tags per se when it comes to XBMC.
