I finally grew tired of my girlfriend calling me asking why the remote wouldn't work with XBMC. She can't grasp the fact that because she has been using the computer for other stuff, (facebook probably!) XBMC is no longer focused and so the commands aren't getting sent to the correct application! I've even setup a button on the harmony to refocus the app! lol! Anyway..

I've ordered a Revo 3700 to run solely XBMC live so she can't get confused. Is there anything I should be aware of to get Live up and running on the 3700 along with a HP IR receiver and a harmony one remote as quick as possible?

I've got a Revo 3610. I'm not sure how much of a difference there is. But, I had trouble getting menu sounds to work properly. Luckily there's guide everywhere to fix it.

That and I've never been able to get wifi to work, luckily I don't need it though.

Other than that it pretty much works straight out of the box with my MCE remote
