oh yeah, i would avoid OCZ for pretty much anything at this present time...
Im not bashing at OCZ but, i've been reading so much bad stuff about the brand
that for the time being, i wont buy anything from them,,,

YEs, everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt but anyhow,
theres better brands out there with better reviews overall...

Yup, i was one of the people impacted by this. My first ocz drive is working fine and frankly so was my second one though I did have reduced capacity. The second drive did benchmark well at about 200 for read. I did send it back for a replacement though and supposedly ocz is coming out with a firmware upgrade that increases speed. We will see.
