i need your help over here!

I've got the same problem with XBMC as previous posted in the forum, but if i take a look into the log file says that the database is newer then he expected?

Did you download any SVN or other builds and run it?

Yes, i have downloaded (and installed) the RC1, RC2 and the first build in the row...

But no SVN... what's the difference?

"Latest" version from GIT upgrades the database such that it's not backwards compatible.

You're running an old build of XBMC. Download and install the release version from http://xbmc.org/download/. If that still gives the errors then post the debug log here and I'll have another look.

sure u can just make sure that xbmc is set to "use fullscreen windows instead of true fullscreen"

@ddewilt: that appears to have fixed the library problem. The error in your original log has disappeared.

As blinkseb and watzen have (collectively) said, using XBMC over an RDP connection may or may not work depending on various XBMC settings, Windows settings and the phase of the moon.

Oops, sorry, I saw a reference to RDP earlier in the thread and assumed you were using RDP.

Looking at your log I note the entry:

NOTICE: Found screen: Generic PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter, adapter 0.

This means you don't have the proper video drivers installed. "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" is the Windows default driver and this (usually) doesn't support DirectX 9. You need to install the proper video drivers.
