Windows system idle timer
#1
Hi,
Starting with Dharma 10 XBMC does interupt the windows system idle timer. I think this was not the case in earlier versions. As a matter of fact I was using the windows screensaver rather than the XBMC built in one since I have run into slight issues (freezing window) when resuming form the screensaver mode in XBMC.
Now with Dharma 10 I can not make any use of the windows screensaver and system idle settings (WIN7) and therefore my touchscreen is always on. Is there a way to prevent XBMC to reset the windows system idle timer?
Much appreciated.
Thanks
Daniel

My PC sleeps just fine with XBMC running. Are you sure it is XBMC that is causing it? To get an energy report, from a command prompt run:
Code:
powercfg -energy
