So ive aquired a windows laptop with a broken screen(for free). It has a blu ray drive, intel integrated graphics core i3 . To the point of this thread, Can some one suggest a really awsome remote for a good price thats super easy to make work. Ive got a ps3 remote but no blu tooth dongle, and that one seems hard to make work anyway. I would like to hear somebody's favorite ir receiver and remote that they use on their windows pc. Thanks.

I have one of those remotes and it does work well but you wont get the "i" button to work movie info not without using AutoHotkey as it sends a mouse click

There are other remotes just as cheap like the HP ones that are oem versions of the original remotes your find most of them listed below
