I have just installed XBMC on my 10.6 MacBook Pro and have been using my first generation apple remote to control it all.
The problem I have is that when running XBMC I can only control the XBMC volume, not OSX's global volume. This means I have to leave the global volume on full so I can properly use the volume contol in XBMC. THis is a problem though becase as soon as any other programs make a noise it is insanely loud.
Do you guys know what to change the name to in the apple remote joystick file so it does the global volume, or any other solutions?
