[ipod] l want to copy video files to ipod via USB (w/o using ITunes)
#1
Hi, I guess this is a very newbie question but I really couldn't find the answer.

Everywhere I look people are talking about streaming videos from the computer using smb shares etc.

I don't want to do any of that. All I want is to copy some video files to my iPod via USB and make xbmc play them locally from iPod.

Can it be done? Where should I copy the movies? I need path, something like /private/var/mobile/Documents/XBMC/videos. Can xbmc open local video files?

mkdir /private/var/mobile/Movies

scp them into there.

add that dir as a video source.

done.
