i know this is the wrong forum, but a) i figured it would get noticed the fastest here and b) since the topic below is pinned and closed i'm sure only a dev or project manager can get x-s to fix it.
the install instructions on the following x-s topic reference build number xbmc.2004.somemonth.somedate-somegroup.rar and it's causing some newbies to think they can't use it for 2005 builds. fwiw, there also don't seem to be any clear instructions on obtaining codec dlls in the instructions either, which seems to be another newbie faq.

pm/e-mail "jaydee" in the xs-forums, or alternativly pm/e-mail "dday" in this xbmc-forum, he is the only one on team-xbmc who is also a mod on xs-forums
