How can I add additional internet streaming links to my Apple tv2 via the xbmc app which I have installed?
The xmbc video option in menu gives some defaulted add-ons such as cartoon network, fox news and many others... but how can I go beyond those sites to add additional streams such as channelsurfing, atdhe, justintv, playboytv, etc.?
Apple tv2 with xbmc (additional internet stream protocol..)?

I cant seem to find a lot of info on how to do this, but if there's even a simpler way to go about by adding a repo which will give me access to more streaming content sites, how can I go about doing so?
Thanks |

You can get Hulu:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=79148 And Icefilms: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...t=icefilms There is an enormous amount of content on both of these. You have to read to learn, for Hulu just add bluecops repo (have to SSH file transfer it to your ATV2) and use the "install from zip" option, For Icefilms you have to download and manually install the plugin (see the last few pages of the thread, the one from the repo will not work on ATV2). |

Although, with the link I've posted in #3, would I need to SSH file transfer to have any of those 3rd party repos to install or is there a way without SSH? Where can I find a step-by-step guide with Apple TV or a few quick tips on how exactly to do this, can you shed some light? Thanks! |

If so, where can I find instructions/commands? As well, of all those 3rd party repositories, which ones from the list in post #3 link are compatible with ios Apple tv2? |

I've figured everything out now, got filezilla and everything works great, thanks!
With the repo I've installed, 2 of the 4 plugins don't work so I've removed them from my "add-ons" but how do I remove them from the main list. Do I remove the actual repo or will that uninstall everything such as my 2 good add-ons? And how are updates done as I believe the repo might have been outdated? |
