Video: ZOTAC GT 210 SYNERGY 1GB DDR3
Cpu: INTEL Core i3-2100 3.30MHz LGA1155
Cabi.. : Silverstone Milo SST-ML03B
Ram: Kingston 2GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM, ValueRAM. Memory: DDR3, 1 x 2048, 240-pin DIMM, Gold, 256M X 64, DDR3, Dual Rank. Energy management: 1.5

I will use an external soundcard : Hegel HD2 DAC and an external 2TB harddrive

I heard that some Mainboards does not support hd bitstream.. but will i need it when I have the hegel DAC?

What PSU should I pick?

Thanks Smile

Theoretically yes with other software

Not sure of XBMC support though

Should be updated.

A. Except the A6 & A8 builds, none of them till you add one of these 2 GPU Cards:
XFX HD6450 1GB DDR3 64-Bit Fanless Low Profile ($47 + $5) (Windows OS only)
ASUS GT430 1GB DDR3 128-bit Low Profile ($60 + $0)
Says here the intel i3-2100 supports 3d bluray. (i wonder, what do you mean by 3d 1080p. any sample?)

A. Except the A6 & A8 builds, none of them till you add one of these 3 GPU Cards:
ASUS HD5450 512MB DDR3 64-Bit Fanless Low Profile ($35 + $0) (Windows OS only)
XFX HD6450 1GB DDR3 64-Bit Fanless Low Profile ($47 + $5) (Windows OS only)
ASUS GT430 1GB DDR3 128-bit Low Profile ($60 + $0)
(Note that as of today, XBMC can't natively Bitstream HD-Audio)
Again, see here. Truehd is hardware supported. the editor mentioned the left right channel for 7.1 audio is swapped. dont know how the latest update fares.

A. Except the A6 & A8 builds, all of them!!
I tested a6 with openelec beta and it works great.

You should update the guide or it will give wrong info.

AMD APU's might now be stable under OpenELEC, i'll have to investigate..

You may want to clarify and state the I3 2120 with the Intel 2000 graphics failed to playback 3D.

The 2105 at 5$ more with the Intel 3000 graphics will playback 3D.

I would also question the posted test results as I've read several forums of people having success with 3D on the 2100.

It's quite possible that the latest Intel driver might allow it to playback 3d, and here are the previous tests on it- http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=113770.

[CASE] SILVERSTONE ML03B μATX (59.99)
[PSU] Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W ATX12V ($44.99)
[RAM] Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ($28.99)

Flawless to me!

you could drop to a A6-3500 APU for $90

and get a silent cooler with saved dollars...

and as PSU, well, i dont go crazy with the EA-380 since it has an 80mm fan...

i know its a good one with good reviews tho,

but i prefer getting the one listed in my HTPC guide,

and if its not available, i'd get the Silverstone Strider 400W

Do I have to have a GPU in order to get Bitstream DOLBY TRUE-HD & DTS-HD MASTER audio or is there any MicroATX motherboards that support it?

If you use AMD APU (it'll work with most motherbords), you don't need a discrete GPU for bitstreaming....

Hi!

I just bought these components:

ASUS F1A75-M PRO DDR3 S-FM1 M-ATX
AMD A-SERIES X3 A6-3500 2.1GHZ SOCKET FM1 BOX
OCZ VERTEX PLUS 2.5" 60GB SSD SATA/300 MLC
ANTEC MINUET 350 PIANO SVART SLIMLINE 350W

Got it set up with Win7 and running smooth, but I can not seem to get dts or any other sound other then Stereo through the HDMI? What am I doing wrong ^^

I've tried XBMC(put the receiver supports dts etc on), tried Mediaportal(ack!), vlc and windows mediaplayer classic.. Every one seem to just be giving me stereo :/
