I have a tv server(DVBViewer Recording Service) which send livetv channels to XBMC client by UPnP.
With Dharma version everything works fine.

I just miss to display a basic EPG of each channel.
I use a epg grabber program and every day I get an .xml file with the program guide of all my channels.

I wonder if XBMC can read the xml file and display epg in channel list.

Something like this...



I don't want an elaborate epg.
Just something simple to avoid having to go channel by channel.
Could I get this in XBMC?

I'm of the opinion that the backend should be the one hat worries about the epg source not xbmc but thats just me

Divingmule, unfortunately your suggestion is not what I want.

Jezz_X, sorry but I have not understood. I think you say that providing EPG guide should be taks of the UPNP tv server, right?

Right the same way that vdr mythtv and tvheadend addons do currently

I misread that question. What I meant with "not yet" is that it will be possible to have a separate EPG addons in the future.
