Hi all,

I just set up a second profile (kid's). Whenever I log in to either the Master profile or the kid's profile a message comes up at the bottom of the screen saying:

"Alarm Clock canceled with X minutes X seconds left". Where X is different each time I log in.

I can't even see where one sets up an alarm clock. this did not happen before I added the second profile.

Any thoughts?

the skin sets up the alarmclock to periodically run the recently added script.

if i'm not mistaken, in the next version of xbmc those cancel messages will be hidden.

By 'recently added script', I guess you mean the second profile? So then it is perfectly normal?

I'll just ignore it then.

nope, most skins run a 'recently added' script at startup to display recently added movies on your home screen.
at the same time they set an 'alarm' to run the script every xx mintues.

what happens when you switch profiles is, the skin will set the alarm again, while it's already set (by your previous login).
hence the cancel message.
