hiya,
in xbmc, in both python scripts (using the xbmc.player().play function) and in the regular my videos playing, the player stops and drops you back to menus when it comes to the end of a file. is there any way to stop that behavior?
obviously it's desirable to have the player stop at the end of a file when you're watching pre-recorded stuff, but when you're using xbmc as a tivo style tv viewer, watching files (via smb shares) that are still being recorded on a pc, it means that if the user fast forwards too far during a live show, they drop out of the show and have to start again from the beginning. it's a real pain.
is there a switch or something that can be used in python to prevent this, and maybe drop the user back into play mode when fast foward hits the eof?
