I have a few 720p files that play back fine using Windows Media Player, but when playing them in XBMC (Win 7 x64) the video is very stuttery (And no sound). Does anyone know what the problem may be?

You'll need to provide a debug log for us to answer that as there are many possible reasons. I would guess that hardware acceleration is not enabled, or your system doesn't support it, or you're using Windows XP as this doesn't support DXVA2.

Thanks for the replay. I worked it out in the end.

I had to uncheck the options in Audio "DTS compatible receiver"
