Everytime I start XBMC I get Audio error, it can't find my audio device or something. To get it to work I have to take the HDMI cable out of my videocard and plug it in again. Like XBMC or windows didn't see that the Audio shall go through it.
My system is:
Win7 x64
Ausus 755 card with intergrated audio and hdmi output(not in use)
E2180
And ATI 5450 videocard wich I run video and audio through HDMI cable
Any ideas?

Did u try to disable the asus audio in the win7 sound manager?
That worked on my system. Though my normal Audio is onboard analog and no hdmi withit.
My graphic card is the same and i use the HDMI output for audio and video.

HDCP handshaking issue... as previous message, try alternate settings, connections. Failing that appeal to an ATI forum; a driver update/patch might help. Specify the type of TV.. it might have known issues.

Have you tried downloading and installing the ATI HDMI Audio Device driver from Realtek?

Looks like it worked with disabling all other video/audio devices under Device Manager!
