Is it possible to run off of two different libraries or builds?

Ok here is my weird dilemma. I have all of my media on an Unraid server which I will be accessing with my 2 xbmc loaded computers (htpc and my laptop, both windows 7). Now I also have movies on my htpc that I watch when I'm on the road, or don't have access to my server. Is there a way where I can setup xbmc to select between the two libraries, or perhaps have one build use my Unraid server library, and another build use the laptop's hard drive's library?

Just install XBMC into 2 separate locations, then, with the second one, run it in portable mode.
