Sometimes my skin freezes for like half a minute when switching windows.
I have not been able to find out why. Debug will not reveal me it's secrets.

I have those freezes with the Frodo nightlies, too... but in my case XBMC crashes eventually. I think it's an issue with a script but I haven't figured out which one. Try disabling tv show next aired, tv tunes etc. if you're running those.

With everything disabled that can be disabled they still happen.

I had the same problems with almost all September nightlies but the last 15 days is happen rarely. Like Black said you can do a fresh install but before that delete all settings for all skins from guisettings.xml. Sometimes this fixes a lot of problems that occur from conflicts of the thousands of settings on some skins.

I completely wiped everything on 2012-10-12. And i mean everything.

I know it's not an exact pinpoint yet but changing:

back to:
<import addon="xbmc.gui" version="3.00"/>
Removes all skin freezes for me. Leading me to believe this is not something i can fix.
