I noticed this too. The animated film Cars is a really clear example. On ATV (original) and other platforms, the DVD rip is fine with Lightning McQueen shown as a good solid red. On ATV2 the same files have him as a washed-out orange. The Blu-ray RIP is fine on ATV2, presumably since the different encoding gets handled very differently from the MPEG-2 from the DVD.

Any update regarding this issue? The same color problem is visible on ipad2 also using Eden b3. Is the color problem on ATV2 dependent on the connected TV or is this a known issue that affects everyone using ATV2?
