ATV2 - XBMC - Ember - Nfo Files
#1
Hey all!

I have used Ember to scrape movie information. Within each movie folder are images for fanart, cover, and an nfo file. If i load up Ember I can see this information presented correctly.

However when I add the source to my movie folder in XBMC it adds the movies as you would expect, but the nfo and image files created by ember seem to be ignored. It rescrapes off the internet each time.

Does anyone have any advice of how to correctly configure XBMC so it reads the nfo files created by Ember and not redownload them?

-thanks,

Lewman

Could you provide a log file? Use this instructions for how to do that:

Ember worked fine for me. Did you check the option to use folder names for movie info or whatever? I believe whether that's checked or unchecked has something to do with it, but I can't recall if that's what I did for XBMC to use my NFO files.

Ahh forget the logfile ... I tested it and it works (did a "fake movie" with wrong fanart, thumbnail and garbage nfo - it all was picked up bei xbmc ... so no scraping here).

no issue here
