I had the same issue w/ ESPN3 and Free Cable (both under Bluecop Repo)

I have read through most of the posts and tried a number of things but am confused. I am trying to use remote login on an ATV2 with comcast. What would be the steps I need to take?
I tried just using just the login
I created and added the cookies.lwp file and the user data.xml file
Then changed the default.py file

So far no luck. If someone should tell me what steps and settings I should need for remote access on an ATV2 it would be very appreciated. Then I can post a clean log file if I can't get it to work.

you don't have to make an account / only cost is your Cable/ Internet Provider
you MAY have to have subscription with your cable provider.

The best way to tell if you can use this plugin OTB, is to go to -> watchespn.com and see if you can view video through your browser. If this works, then it should work through XBMC.

ESPN charges the internet service provider for this. You do not pay anything as long as your provider has the agreement with ESPN.

FYI, Comcast does have this so whenever your ip is a comcast one, the service will work. No ESPN3 account necessary.

This plugin has been working for me for quite a long time, but, all of a sudden, I can't get anything to play for longer than 2 seconds. It's been like this for a couple of weeks now. Any ideas?
