Make sure that they are not unzipped first (MAC does this be default it seems). Quote:.. and drop in the the applications folder. For ATV2, I drop them in the "updates" folder. This means that they are removed after you restart the ATV :-) Then select "install from zip", point to that folder and badda-bing. -- XBMC HUB - THE NEW HOME FOR ADD-ONS and PLUGINS Read how my ATV2 installation went ATV2 one week on ... it's getting better all the time XBMC/ATV2 - Feeling the love -- XBMC: Platform - Darwin iOS (11.0.0 AppleTV2,1, Version 4.3 (Build 8F305)). 11.0-RC2 - Built on Mar 1 2012 (Git:20120229-f38655f) Platform - Darwin OSX (8.8.2 i386, Version 10.4.7 (Build 8N6014)). 11.0-RC2 - Built on Mar 1 2012 (Git:20120229-f38655f) |

I got my AppleTV yesterday to replace my Atom-based nettop HTPC and I put XMBC on it today. I'm running into some issues with the Hulu and Free Cable plugins, though. When I try to play a video, it says it's opening the stream then does nothing. If I try to play something else it says "One or more items failed to play..." What is causing this?
Ice Films and Yahoo Music Videos seems to be working fine. |

I believe you need to update a file to be able to playback the streams As per the ATV 2 FAQ [NEW] Some RTMP streams are not working because the version of librtmp packaged with xbmc for iOS/ATV2 is not the most up-to-date version available. To update librtmp download and transfer it over to XBMC as described in THIS THREAD (particularly post #14) ATV1 with crystalbuntu V1 (11.eden). Theater remote URC MX-810, droidx wtih xbmc remote, or transformer tf101 with YATSE. 2 x ATV2 (V12.0 Eden). |
