Specific conditions to notifications?

Great app, thanks.
Since I have a real remote for my HTPC, I must say what I find most useful is the notifications of incoming calls and SMS. Love it!
But, I have been facing some issues.

The first one is, even after I start my WI-FI, and after I start the app, some incoming calls are not sent to XBMC. Of course the 1st thing I thought was the Android config that turns WI-FI off to save power. But I made some tests and even if I configure Android to never turn WI-FI off, the app sometimes does not sent the notification to XBMC. When I take the phone to check, I can see WI-FI was turned on, and that the app was running.

Specific conditions must be true to enable the notifications? For instance, the app must have the focus? Do I have to turn on the app config that disables screen lock when in remote mode? I was not able to understand what makes the app send the notifications.

A second, minor issue is that, when a call is received from a contact, sometimes XBMC just pauses, instead of also showing the name of the contact.
