I am just now reading up on .dds fanart (i know im way behind). I have XBMC installed on ubuntu minimal. From the guides that I have seen it seems easier to accomplish in windows then linux. Is it possible for me to copy over the Thumbnail folder to my windows pc and then transfer it back after running the script. I have already made the <advancedsettings.xml> change but just looking for the easiest way to run the .dds script.

No scripts required. XBMC autogenerates them for you if you have enabled the advancedsetting.
