history
- 3-5 december - a lot of work
- 1 march 05 - fixed the server changing code/ loading server code.
- 6 march 05 - got it to display incoming messages
- 5 march 05 - - 5 march 05 - sending and receive both work at same time now. by using threads.
working
- connect to freenode or rizon on a channel
- send messages to channel
- send private message to a user
- receives messages from channel
- send/receive private message to a user from a user. ( shows in main channel window)
- server selector
- (irc) get all users in channel and list. (updated 5th dec)
-now replies to ctcp version
work to do
- improve closing code
- tidy up the code
- improve the interface
known problems:
- updated: fixed can't connect to efnet
- send button doesn’t work (have to use send usr and enter in channel name)
- some lazy coding.
- quit it may crash xbmc or won't close correctly
for devs:
if you are a python script developer and what to work on it your self
previously links have been removed. (prolbey really should have a thread in scripts support to keep this one clean for dev updates. oh well :p)
