Hello!
I moved from Win7 to XBMCLive and I'am wondering why my external dvd drive can't play protected DVDs. Do I have to install some packages by myself?

Does that mean that it can read unprotected DVDs? Posting your xbmc.log will help. Otherwise, while we wait for more complete info, you can play around with this:

It shows how to install libdvdcss which is essential for playing encrypted DVDs. I'm thinking that it should be installed with xbmclive, but I'm not 100% sure.
