a few things hardware and software related..

ok, started using XBMC for ATV2 recently, and i love it. very handy. last night i long pressed the menu button on a divx avi file, and went to episode info, and it showed the codecs under a screen grab, etc, but now, when i try to go into the episode info menu, it does nothing. how can i get that back?

also, my ATV sits within 3 feet of the wireless router it connects to. should i just hardline it into the router, even though the media that i stream is all connected wirelessly? i haven't run into much buffering issues, but if it's more stable, wired, i'll do that.

finally, i'm debating on whether i should connect the ATV to my home theater receiver that can decode DD5.1, or if i should just leave it connected to the TV via HDMI?
