today all sudden XBMC refuses to see SMB server
#1
I formatted my laptop due to a issue with Windows 7 and reinstall now XBMC is acting crazy.

It was crashing at close so I made an advancedsetting.xml file after some searching on the issue.

Now today all a sudden while playing a video it stops. Then when I click play it tells me that's it can't find the file and would I like to delete it from the library?

So when I go to add source and browse the Windows (SMB) it sees nothing no media server or anything. I rebooted my router, media server and laptop.

Then I can add sources again no problem but then when I am playing a video it stops and gives me same error. I check again and it can't find the media server.

I wish I never reinstalled Windows should have left it with it issues because xbmc was running so good now it running like crap. Not blaming XBMC it has to be user error somewhere but I am lost to know what I am doing wrong.

Any ideas I would be grateful for the help.

I think it might be my laptop network card so I updated the driver so I will see.

Did you get this up and running? what OP are you running on "MEDIASERVER"?
it says in the log "access denied" can you mount the share in Windows AKA outside of xbmc?

I was getting a similar problem for a while on Win 7. See if this helps you:

Your sounds like it happens a lot quicker though so it could easily be something else.
