I just would like to know how to embed a trailer for each movie in my library. I have downloaded most of the trailers, and if it matters the skin i'm using is refocus.

Just rename the trailer file to :

Code:

trailer.ext or
moviefilename-trailer.ext

and move it inside the specific movie's folder.

Example, you could have :

Code:

trailer.flv

or

Code:

Superbad (2007)-1080p-BluRay-DTS-trailer.mov

Most skins will have a way if playing the trailer if XBMC detects it and XBMC should detect them named like so...

Yes, what Pr.Sinister said. Another note, I believe you need to refresh an existing movie if you add a trailer for it and want the skin to detect it.

I thought the same but its changed with Dharma it checks for a trailer when you select movie info
