I was just curious if XBMC can/will be distributed through the Mac App Store. I think that it could be a good way for people unfamiliar with XBMC to find it and give it a try. Could also open up XBMC to a user base that likes the Apple Ecosystem.

Apps distributed through the Mac App Store have certain restrictions and limitations as to how they work and APIs that they access and those restrictions are incompatible with XBMC for Mac at this time.
