4gb or 8gb RAM?

I have 4gb dual channel and have been very happy with it.

This is my personal perfect setup running on Linux:
- Operating System & XBMC installed on SSD (about 200MB/s read speed)
- 4GB of RAM where 2GB are configured as tmpfs where I've mapped XBMC's temp, system /tmp and /var/log to reduce unwanted SSD disk writes.
- Music & Video Collections stored in a NAS connected via nfs
All the interface is always very speedy in all conditions. I don't know what is a slowdown with XBMC.
