Any way to map volume buttons to the directional pad on the remote that came with the unit?

Probably, but it won't do you any good, because the digital output doesn't support changing the volume...

From the Apple TV 2G FAQ:
Quote:Q: My volume control isn't working, not even with a custom remote!
A: Digital output (as all outputs are with the new ATV2) do not carry db information. So the receiving device (receiver, TV, Soundbar...) is the device to amplify the signal with the right volume.

I'd be interesting in remapping the up/down buttons to skip +10 minutes in XBMC like it seems to on OSX? Is that possible?
